· Multiple working chambers with 2# Transfer Hatches

· 1# main chamber complete with 1# rear CO2 incubator chamber and 1# lower centrifuge chamber

· Leakage rate ISO 14644-7 class 2 ≤0.25% vol/hr

· Laminar airflow giving 0.45 m/s +/- 20% (at the working plane) giving ISO 4.8 conditions.

· Unit can run in either +ve or -ve pressure mode as required

· Unit will run in –ve pressure mode under glove breach conditions to give operator protection

· Rear Chamber gimbal style door for installation of CO2 incubator

· Stirrer fans located in the main chamber will provide distribution of the H2O2 during the gas cycle injection phase.

· Transfer hatches can be bio-decontaminated separately to main chamber

· Interface signals to/from VHP generator

· 1# Non-Viable monitoring point - instrumentation by others. Solenoid signal initiated from HMI to start viable monitoring

· Panasonic CO2 incubator installed in rear chamber. Unit is standalone, allowing other incubators to be fitted if required.

· 7 internal electrical sockets will be provided, located on the rear wall of the isolator.

· Double ended triclovers will be welded into the main chamber to allow connection of CO2 and N2 lines, allowing for penetration through the fabrication without compromising the leak tightness of the chamber.

· The particle counter will comprise of an iso-kinetic cone located inside the main chamber. This will be connected to the site vacuum system by others. Particle counting will be initiated from the Isolator HMI via a volt-free contact to the clients on-site particle system.

· The microscope will be located on the main base of the isolator. Telstar assume at this stage that the microscope will be free standing.

· The centrifuge is intended to be located inside its own chamber, mounted in the base of the Isolator. A hinged lid will be provided to close off the centrifuge chamber, allowing for a working area inside the main chamber when access to the centrifuge is not required. The centrifuge controls will be accessed from the front of this lower chamber via a single gloveport. This lower chamber will have its own fan/filter system to provide the grade A environment.


It has never been used, other than original validation.
